A Little Life Recap
So, this is me again. It’s been seven months since I last opened this section of my website, and I’m honestly wondering how time can pass so quickly. So many different things have happened since then, and I don’t quite feel like I have the concentration to type everything down. Instead, I want to share some of the highlights from this season of my life, almost like a little recap for myself, reflecting on just how colorful life can be.
Dear self,
I would like to start this note by saying how proud I am of us. We built our own little pond in the garden, all by ourselves. We had two art commissions successfully delivered, sold an original and plenty of postcards, collected so many warm memories with friends and family, visited our first island in the North Sea, and created a new collection of prints inspired by it.
We were able to grow our art skills, experiment with new techniques, host workshops, and find so many small sparks of joy throughout our days, even though we also had some difficulties with our health during the summertime.
Looking back, it feels like there was so much life packed into these past seven months. Some moments were big and exciting, others were quiet and easy to overlook, but together, they made this season what it was. And because I don’t want these little pieces to simply disappear into the blur of time, I want to gather some of them here, just for us to remember.
So, here are some of the highlights.
Pour yourself some tea, make yourself cozy, put on some autumn music, and let’s celebrate all these amazing moments once again.
