"Love Street" - 2024

Today, I want to talk to you about love. That powerful feeling that has inspired artists across centuries. From the spark of two people exchanging their first glance to the bittersweet moment of holding hands for the last time. From soaring to the heights of joy to crashing back to the earth. These emotions have fueled the creation of paintings, songs, poems, sculptures, novels, architecture, and so much more.

But as you might have guessed, I’m not talking about the love you share with family or friends. I’m talking about the kind of love that catches you off guard in the most unexpected places and moments.

"Manifesting our love" - 2024

The love that feels like finding someone who speaks the language of your soul, someone who can read your thoughts before you even voice them. That person who stands by you, making you feel seen and encouraging you to grow, even when the truth is hard to hear.

I’m talking about honest, gentle, loyal, passionate, steady, playful, colorful, calming love. The kind of love that nurtures the part of you that has long been hidden under the weight of negative identities. A quiet, secure love that flourishes in the small, unspoken moments of the day, rather than seeking validation in public displays. The love that doesn’t need to prove itself to anyone but your person.

It’s the love that shows up in simple gestures, making your favorite soup when you’re sick, dancing with you in the kitchen, calling just to say they’re thinking of you, or a loving smile that says, without words: "I am here with you.".

The love that listens to your stories time and time again with undiminished interest, gives space to your silence, and never questions your commitment. It's the kind of playful love that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts and encourages you to be unapologetically real with each other. Not the “perfect love,” but the “I choose us” love. The love that stays, supports, and helps you grow, even in life’s darkest moments.

Today, I want to talk about that love, whether you’ve found it, are still searching, or have felt its loss. It’s the kind of love that inspires you to become your truest self, heal your wounds, and feel grateful for something so profoundly worth living for.

And for those of you wandering alone on this journey called life, remember this: Your right companion may already be walking toward you. But until you meet, don’t forget to be all this love to yourself, too.

What does love mean to you, and how has it shaped your journey?
